Add
a task - Rubricator for OS X.
From the rubric screen click on the 'Performance Task' tab.

An area for your task appears.

You can either type in a task by hand, or click the button.
Once the ‘Task Builder’ button is clicked you will be
asked to choose a role setting.

There are many settings to choose from, select the one you wish
to work with, then the ‘OK’ button.

A new window will appear with blue arrow helpers prompting what
you should do next. (Note: The arrow helpers can be turned off
by checking the ‘Turn off Arrow Helpers’ box at the bottom left-hand
side of window.)

Make a choice from each drop down list.

As each of your choices are made, a task based upon those choices
will begin to emerge in the box on the left-hand side of the
screen and the arrow helper will move to the next step in the
task building process.

Once all of the choices have been made here, the ‘Continue’
button will activate and the arrow helper will move to a position
above it.

Click continue and follow the arrow helper through the rest
of the selections. Once all of your selections have been made,
the ‘Continue’ button will change to ‘Done’, and the arrow helper
will move to a position above it

Click the ‘Done’ button to close this window and have the task
you’ve just created placed in your rubric record. The Assessment
and Audience Feedback buttons, also found on the ‘Performance
Task’ tab, work exactly the same as the Standard Selection screen.

Use these buttons to enter any assessment or feedback criteria.
