Writing Analysis Standard/Benchmark: Performance-Based Assessment: Participant evaluates rubrics with an emphasis upon targeted results. Performance Task: Carefully analyze a simple writing rubric. Identify its strengths and weaknesses. Apply the critical design question: Is it possible to perform at Level 3 on each performance element and still not have a good piece of writing? If YES, modify the rubric to more effectively evaluate good writing. |
